This Summer our Technology and STEM camp will be better than ever... come and join us for exciting technology exploration to inspire curious little minds! NEW FOR 2025: SCIENCE EXPERIMENTS DAY… A magical, awe-inspiring day of fizzing reactions,mind-blowing experiments, and rocket launches! Children become young scientists as they explore the wonders of the universe through explosive, hands-on science. It’s a day full of "wow!" moments that spark curiosity and wonder. Plus exciting daily activities like: Micro Robots & Cool Coding LEGO Machines & Engineering Minecraft Coding & Game Design Movie Making & Animation Virtual Reality Adventures Laser Tag Outdoor Battles Daily Take-Home Inventions: Conductive, Motorised, Solar, Light-powered & More! Each child will receive a hot, nutritious lunch daily, and lots of fun physical games and activities alongside the Tech fun! Running 9am-4pm daily, for children age 5-11. Let’s make this summer an unforgettable journey of invention, discovery, and out-of-this-world fun... We can’t wait to welcome you! Sample Activity schedule: 8.50am - 9am - Arrival 9am– 9.30am - Registration and Intro to the day 9.30am - 10.45am- Tech/STEM Activity 1 10:45am - 11:15am – Sports break 11:15am – 12:30pm - Tech/STEM Activity 2 12:30pm – 13:45pm - Lunch followed by a nutrition based physical activity 13:45pm – 15:00pm – Tech/STEM Activity 3 15:00pm – 15:30pm - Games and review 15:50pm – 16:00pm – Home time Sample menu Main: Chicken Egg Noodles (Meat) or Vegetable Egg Noodles (Vegetarian), Sides: Peppers, carrots, beansprouts, Dessert: Fruit yoghurt and fruit selection: Bananas, apples, oranges Tuesday Cheesy Tuna and Veggie Pasta (Meat/Fish) or Cheesy Veggie pasta (Vegetarian), Sides: Optional extra cheese topper, petit pois and baby carrots, Dessert: Fruit yoghurt and fruit selection: Bananas, apples, oranges Wednesday Main: Chicken and Tomato Pasta (Meat) or Vegetarian Tomato Pasta (Vegetarian), Sides: Optional cheese topper & Fresh salad, Dessert: Fruit mousse and fruit selection: Bananas, apples, oranges Thursday Main: Cheesy Tuna and Veggie Pasta (Meat/Fish) or Cheesy Veggie pasta (Vegetarian), Sides: Optional extra cheese topper, petit pois and baby carrots, Dessert: Fruit yoghurt and fruit selection: Friday Main: Picnic style lunch with a selection of filled sandwiches, sausages / cheese and onion rolls. Sides: Crudites and mixed vegetables, Dessert: Fruit jelly and fruit selection: Bananas, apples, oranges Where is the registration point?: Leavesden Green JMI School & Nursery, High Rd, Leavesden, Watford WD25 7QZ The registration point will be sign posted with our Next Thing Education flags at the entrance of the school. What are the parking facilities?: Parking is available onsite. An email will be sent to all parents with further details before camp begins. What is the disabled access?: Disabled access and toilets are available. What should I bring to the session?: Weather appropriate clothing, any medication required and if food is brought in by children - this must all be nut free.
